	A
I'm an	Icelandic cowboy

	D	A
On my	Icelandic	pony.

	F#m	B	E
I travel	around in the	west.

	A	D	A
I	know all the ways	around Snæfells	nes,

	E	A
'Cause that's where my	baby	stays.

	A
I've	been to the east

	D	A
And I've	been to the	west.

	F#m	B	E
I've been to the	north and the	south.

	A	D	A
Once I met there an	old polar	bear,

	E	A
But I found out he	had a big	mouth.

	D
	That's why I'm singing

	A
For you,	forgotten cowboys,

	E	A
	Forgotten cowboys of the	world.

	D	A
Come to Iceland,	'cause it's a nice land

	E	A
And you can shake the shepherd's	hand.

	D	A
And	if you come to	Iceland

	E	A
You can	join the local	band.
